The university now offers more than 100 newly created programmes covering seven major academic disciplines: technology, science, economics, management, law, literature and philosophy.
We have one conviction and that is: the purpose of a university education should serve society through full employment of its graduates. We have been advocating a conceptual transformation, shifting the emphasis of education from academic study to technological and practical application. We deliver graduates who meet the needs of a socially and economically developing society. We were the first private university in Beijing to have successfully passed the Teaching Evaluation for Higher Vocational Schools and Junior Colleges in November 2005.
Materially we are well equipped. Among our landmark constructions are a grand library complex, a multifunctional gymnasium and a modern state of the art International Lecture Hall.
Different forms of long-term cooperation relationships have been established with close to 100 institutions of higher learning in 17 countries and regions such as US, UK, and Japan.
